Six Pack Representation for Scottish Touch

6 Senior and 15 Open Six Packers have been selected for the inital Scottish Touch squads for thie year's 2018 European Touch competition , held in Nottingham over the 19th, 20th, 21st & 22nd of July 2018.
We wish all Six Packers and everyone else involved the best of luck throughout the following training months & camps, leading to a successful campaign for Scottish Touch.

Six Pack Training

Summer training will run on Inverleith Park (by the tennis courts) on Mondays from 9th-30th April, 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
These session will run up until the Start of the Edinburgh Touch Superleague (ETS), which begins on the 7th of May.
If you are new to Touch Rugby and want to try something new, we love welcoming new members into the Touch family. Drop us a quick message from our contact section and will be happy to help you out. Alternatively, just turn up to a training session and make yourself known to one of our commitee members.

Six Pack Roosters win final STS

The final STS event of this year took us to Glasgow, where Six Pack Roosters emerged victorious, the 3rd win in a row and taking it too 3/4 wins this year. This meant Six Pack Roosters were crowned STS Champions for the 2017 Season, a fantastic effort by all players across all 4 tournaments. Six Pack would like to thank all the other teams, players, Scottish Touch referees and organisers for putting together another fantastic year of tournaments. We look forward to trying to defend our title next year.

Six Pack representation at the first EFT Premiership Permit Competition

A total of 17 Six Packers were selected to represent the 4 Scotland squads taking part in the 2017 EFT Premiership Permit competition, held at Peffermill, Edinburgh from 6th to 9th of July.

In the Men's Open, after a tough 4 days the Scotland Stags finshed 3rd, after beating the England Knights in the 3rd / 4th classification match. The England Crusaders took the crown, beating the Celtic Devils 5 - 4 in a thrilling back and forth final. The Scotland Kelpies beat the Irish Falcons 8 - 3 to finish 7th.

In the Women's Open, the England Crusaders were victorious with a 5 - 1 victory over the England Knights. Scotland Kelpies narrowly missed out on the Final, losing 6 - 5 to the England Knights in the Final Qualifier. Scotland Stags lost out 9 - 5 to the England Royals in the Plate round 3.

Well done to all players, referees, physios and organisers on a fantastic 4 days of high quality touch.

Six Pack Roosters Win Stirling STS

A huge effort from the Six Pack Roosters saw them emerge victorious at this year's Stirling STS.
A rain soaked day did not prevent an enthralling tournament, Six Pack Roosters went unbeaten through their group and progressed to the Cup finals, where they beat Sparks 4 - 2 in the quarter final, Galaxy Scotland 4 - 1 in the semi final and lastly, beating Blue Jays 5 - 3 to lift the Cup.

2 wins from 4 allowed the Six Pack Sharks to enter the Shield, where they battled their way through to the Shield final until finally being edged out 5 - 3 against a competitive Buffalos side.

The Cup win puts Roosters at the top of the STS table, with 2 tournaments to play.
The penultimate STS will be held in Aberdeen on 22nd July 2017, with Glasgow wrapping up the series on 26th August 2017.

A huge thank you must go out to all teams, players, referees, friends and supporters who helped make it a great day out. Special plaudits must to to Stirling for hosting a fantastic Ceilidh long into the evening to top off a fantastic day.

Six Pack Roosters lost out in a thrilling drop off final to Galaxy Scotland at this year's Edinburgh STS.

The first of this year's STS tournaments was held in Edinburgh, hosted by Six Pack, at Peffermill Playing Fields.

The Cup win puts Roosters at the top of the STS table, with 2 tournaments to play.
The penultimate STS will be held in Aberdeen on 22nd July 2017, with Glasgow wrapping up the series on 26th August 2017.
